Let's get started with "All
About Me" a powerpoint presentation project based on the survey that you completed.
Introduction to Discovery: Powerpoint Presentation: All About Me.

Students use the information from their All About Me Survey
and incorporate their comments, pictures, sound effects and music to create a multimedia presentation all about themselves.

Project 2:
Ongoing Piano Keyboarding
Unit- Students will meet in the music room to play the portable keyboard units. See the assigments page for more online activities.
Online Piano Fun Visit The Music Lab and play a tune.
Project 3: Self-study project can be Science, Math or Social Studies related or you can concentrate on
learning how to be a expert at typing. Ask for help from the teacher if you want to do a self-study project.
Other Projects....
Project 4: Write a play.
You must start with a prologue and epilogue ( an introduction that tells who, what, when and where the story is taking
place and an ending (a detailed paragraph about what happened to the characters it should tell what may happen next
and let us know that the story has come to an end. Please do not use The End.)
Use the animals as your characters and decide what would they say.
Create Your Senario
Check your ideas with your Write a Story Handout. Does your play have a begining, a middle and an ending?
Do the characters talk to one another about the story and show what is happening?
Project 5: Learn the Basics of Chess or Improve your Game.

Read a book from the Junie B. Jones series and be prepared to talk about it.
Read or re-read your
favorite book in the series. Then we will have activities that relate to the book, book discussions and more...
