MUSIC APPRECIATION AN INTRODUCTION

Welcome to Music Appreciation Online. This course was developed to help you gain an understanding of the nature of music. It is hoped that you will pursue your interests when writing your reports about Concerts, Careers and Composers. An important element of a music course is, often, attending a musical performance-such as a concert, a recital, or an opera.

BASIC ELEMENTS OF MUSIC

A basic knowledge of the elements of music is not necessary when listening to music but once you understand some of the elements, the music begins to make more sense and is more enjoyable.
